Instructions
- Prepare the Marinade:
In a medium-sized bowl, combine soy sauce, fish sauce, sugar, garlic, lemongrass, and black pepper. Stir until the sugar dissolves. - Marinate the Pork:
Place the pork chops in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the pork, ensuring the chops are fully coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (preferably 2-3 hours or overnight for best results). - Preheat the Grill:
Heat the grill to medium-high. Brush the grill with a bit of oil to prevent sticking. - Grill the Pork Chops:
Grill the marinated pork chops for 4-5 minutes per side, or until they are golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 145°F (62.8°C). - Serve:
Let the pork chops rest for a few minutes before serving. Pair them with steamed rice, pickled vegetables, or spring rolls for an authentic Vietnamese meal.
