2 ripe bananas, 1 cup all-purpose flour, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/4 cup butter (melted), 1 egg, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mash the bananas in a large bowl until smooth with some chunks.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the melted butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir gently to combine.
- Add the mashed bananas and mix until just combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
